Fruit Salad with Yogurt Sauce
Fruit is great for your children. For instance Watermelon contain 91% water, 6% sugars, and is low in fat, cantaloupe contain 90% water, 8% carbohydrates, 0.8% protein and 0.2% fat, Strawberries contain a modest amount of essential unsaturated fatty acids in the achene (seed) oil. So try this healthy and tasty recipe at home, remember you can always add or give some ingredients after your own wish.
Ingredients for 8 servings:
1 cup diced cantaloupe (1″ dice)
1 cup diced watermelon (1″ dice)
1 cup diced strawberries
1 cup sliced and quartered bananas
¾ cup full-fat vanilla yogurt
¼ cup heavy cream
2 tablespoons granulated sugar, or to taste ½ teaspoon pure vanilla extract
STEP 1. Combine all the fruit in a bowl.
STEP 2. Whisk together the yogurt, heavy cream, sugar, and vanilla extract in a small bowl. Pour into a serving dish. Serve the fruit chunks with the dipping sauce on the side.
STEP 3. EAT !!!
