Sandra Bullock Lists Beach House in Georgia for $6.5 Million
Oscar-winning actress Sandra Bullock is ready to part with her longtime beach house on Georgia’s Tybee Island, and she’s looking to get $6.5 million for the home and almost everything in it. The home, listed on March 18, is the most expensive on the market on the barrier island around 18 miles east of Savannah, Georgia. Set on an almost three-acre beachfront parcel on the island’s northern end, the property comes with all the furnishings “with the exception of a few personal items,” according to the listing with Ruthie Lynah and Rachel Umbreit of Celia Dunn Sotheby’s International Realty.
The compound comprises a 3,360-square-foot main house with a gourmet kitchen, screened porches, a home gym, a basketball court, a pool and a private beach entrance. The 2,848-square-foot guest house is an example of “beach bum life at its best,” the listing said. It has a game room, an outdoor grill and a crow’s nest.
The “Bird Box” star, 54, bought the home in 2001 for $1.49 million, records with PropertyShark show. She used a limited liability company for the purchase.
A representative for Ms. Bullock could not immediately be reached.
