Savory pancakes are wonderful and tasty recipe. They ca be eaten alone, or combined with other food as addition to them. Below mixture makes a big batch so if there are any left, you can froze them for later.

Ingredients for 12 servings :

1 cup unbleached bread flour

1 cup yellow cornmeal

½ teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon baking powder

½ stick unsalted butter

1 cup milk

½ cup cold water

2 tablespoons granulated sugar

3 tablespoons canola oil

  1. Combine all ingredients except for the canola oil in a large bowl.
  2. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Use a ј-cup measurement scoop to ladle batter onto the hot skillet. Cook each pancake until is lightly golden from both sides. Transfer cooked pancakes to a plate. Repeat for the remaining batter.
  3. Serve warm. You can refrigerate for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 2 weeks.
  4. EAT !!!
