HOW TO: MAKE A CHRISTMAS SNOW GLOBE
Using your favourite decoration, a jar and some sparkly glitter, it's so simple to make your own Christmas snow globe!
YOU WILL NEED:
• Your favourite Christmas decoration
• A Mason jar
• Metallic glitter
• Strong, waterproof glue
• Water
HOW TO MAKE YOUR SNOW GLOBE:
• Inside the lid of the Mason jar, apply a liberal blob of glue.
• Wait until it is almost dry and 'tacky' to touch, then sprinkle the glitter (enough to cover the inside of the lid and the glue)
• Press the bottom of the decoration into the glue so that it's standing inside the lid (you may need to add a little more glue to the bottom of the ornament if you find it doesn't hold) Leave to dry for 8 hours to allow the glue to set hard.
• Sprinkle the glitter into the empty jar and fill it with water. Make sure to leave a 2cm gap at the top to ensure it doesn't overflow when you attach the lid.
• Screw on the lid and tie your ribbon around the edge (you may wish to line the rim of the lid with superglue first to give an added layer of protection)
• Finally, screw on the lid, turn it uside down and shake!
