SpaceX Dragon capsule completes ISS docking in major breakthrough for NASA space programme
SPACEX’s Dragon capsule has successfully docked with the International Space Station, marking the second major step to returning astronauts to space from US soil.
The rocket blasted off from Cape Canaveral yesterday morning and completed its journey to the ISS about 11am this morning.
Astronauts onboard the space station are completing checks ahead of opening the capsule and welcoming its only passenger, dummy Ripley, in a few hours’ time.
